Woodturning: Turn a Wooden Teapot with David Bell

Please join us in a woodturning workshop learning the hands on possibilities making a wooden Teapot with David Bell. The course will cover the aspects of turning the body of the Teapot, the spout, the lid and the handle. David will cover several design possibilities, as well as, finishing ideas, including painting and texturing.

David Bell is a wood turner who has been involved in woodworking for nearly 40 years. His wood turnings have been featured in a few galleries throughout southern Ontario. David has demonstrated various aspects of his wood turning methods to local guilds and groups throughout Ontario. David has also been teaching his craft through Lee Valley in Waterloo, Ontario and Woodchuckers in Toronto, Ontario.

This is a two day workshop. Each day will begin at 9:00 am and end at around 4:00 pm. The workshop will be held at Intersections Wood Collaborative at 299 10th Street E., Owen Sound.

Suitable for intermediate woodturners. Prior turning experience essential.

Materials fee of $25 payable to instructor at start of class.
